Listen. Believe. Empower.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence is a United Nations annual international campaign focusing on the prevention and elimination of gender-based violence.  Each year people from across the globe celebrate this event between 25th November and 10th December. The theme for 2021 is “Orange the World: end violence against women now”.

To mark this year’s theme, RASA Merseyside has left their mark by leaving orange ribbons in public spaces.  The act of leaving the ribbon is both symbolic of resistance and empowerment; public spaces belong to everyone, and women should not live in a world where they feel unsafe.
