Level 3 – Certificate in Counselling Skills *

Please note: Entry level for this qualification is a Level 2 Award in Counselling Concepts

This qualification develops a repertoire of interpersonal skills and counselling skills, promotes personal growth, and provides essential industry knowledge to help learners make informed career decisions. Learners will complete this qualification with a comprehensive and full understanding of the following:

• Understanding the context for the use of counselling skills
• Understanding counselling theory
• Using counselling skills
• Personal development for users of counselling skills

Learners will complete a written piece of work for each of the above and will also be expected to participate in a 30 minute listening session observed by the tutor.

* Please note that the following courses include some weekend training dates:

• Level 3 Counselling Skills and Level 3 Counselling Skills Fast Track will include one weekend residential
